Archival footage shot by an Austrian filmmaker while visiting the USSR in July 1975.

It contains stock footage of Moscow: (00:00) Red Square, (00:15) Soviet flag fluttering over the Senate building, (00:18) Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building, a cruise along the Moskva river beginning near Rossiya Hotel Pier with the following footage: (00:24) Vodovzvodnaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin from Sofiyskaya Embankment, (00:31) Rostovskaya Embankment near Borodinskiy bridge, (00:49) the main building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Kievskiy Railway station, (00:58) Novodevichy Convent, (01:10) Cathedral of Our Lady of Smolensk, (01:23) Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, (01:57) Lopukhin Chamber, (02:14) Prokhorovs’ chapel, (02:17) Bell Tower of the Novodevichy Convent, (02:36) Orlov’s Summer House in the Neskuchny (“not boring”) Garden, (02:42) Frunzenskaya Embankment, (02:46) bowling pavilion at Gorky Park, (02:55) Restaurant Burevestnik (later it would be transported to another pier down the Moskva river), (03:08) Bolshoy Kamenny (“Greater Stone”) Bridge, (03:15) Vodovzvodnaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin, Senate building, and Cathedral Square ensemble.

Rossiya Hotel (demolished in 2006; since 2017, Zaryadye Park has been located on the site), (05:39) Saint Basil’s Cathedral in Red Square, (06:25, 06:42) Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building (again), (06:30) Rossiya Hotel Concert Hall (with flags and logo of MIFF-1975), (07:09) State Department Store.
