Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting Spain in the summer of 1963.
It contains stock footage of a bullfight held in the plazas de toros La Perseverancia in Algeciras: the billboard of the event held on June 17, 1963 (six bulls and bullfighters Curro Romero, Andres Vasquez and Manuel García “Palmeño”, the parade of the participants (paseíllo), the three stages of the fight (Tercio de Varas, Tercio de Banderillas, Tercio de Muerte) of the three bullfights, workers bringing the dead bulls outside the stage, spectators leaving the arena and walking home, and more.
