Italy 1960s: the launch of ship archive footage

Archival footage shot by Carlo Casu, an Italian filmmaker who gave the rights to distribute his historical footage, in Sestri Levante, Liguria in 1969.

It contains stock footage of the launch of a ship produced by Cantiere Navale of Riva Trigoso (today Fincantieri): the yacht sliding into the sea, workers who pull the slide with a rope from the sea back to the beach, children greeting the new yacht from the beach, a tractor moving the slide into the shipyard building, and more.
