Archival footage shot by an English filmmaker while spending his summer holiday in Switzerland.

It contains stock footage of Lucerne, a city in the German-speaking portion of the country: Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge), a flower market, a giant chess game, a food market, the lake (3:15 – the laid up paddle steamer Wilhelm Tell 1908. This ship was retired from service on Lake Lucerne in 1970 and became a floating restaurant in 1972), Fritschi fountain, people walking in the pedestrian street of the city, boats docking, Church of St Leodegar (Hofkirche), and more.
