It contains stock footage of Merano (Meran), a German-speaking town in the Italian Alps, and the near town of Dorf Tirol (Tirolo): women selling fruit at an outdoor market, the Kurhaus and its garden, car traffic in the town center, the Pension Kuchelberg (at the time a famous resort that doesn’t exist anymore), the passeggiata Tappeiner (Tappeiner walk – Tappeinerweg), the statue of Dr. Franz Tappeiner, panoramas of the city, St. Nicholas’ Church (Duomo di Merano), the town of Dorf Tirol (Tirolo): Church of St John and Castel Tirol (Schloss Tirol), and more.
