Archival footage shot by a Russian filmmaker who was in Japan in 1964 with the Soviet delegation at the Olympic Games of 1964 held in Tokyo.

It contains stock footage of Mount Fuji and the region of five lakes: cable car, panoramas from the top of the mountain, boat trip in one of the lake of the area (probably Lake Ashi), Ōwakudani volcanic area, sightseeing ships, and more.
