Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while travelling from the French Riviera, probably in 1959.

It contains stock footage of Nice Côte d’Azur Airport: passengers boarding in front of International Departure Gate, U.S. Air Force aircraft parked on the strip, Air France aircraft landing and parking, BP truck refuelling an aircraft, touring aircraft landing and taking off, workers preparing an Alitalia aircraft in the strip, passengers walking into the aircraft, and more.

00:49: Air France aircraft Vickers Viscount F-BGNO or F-BGNU. BGNO-Viscount was scrapped after its written-off. BGNU-Viscount is still alive in the Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim, Germany. 02:09: Alitalia aircraft Douglas DC-6 I-DIMC (also alive, in the Ditellandia Air Park, Castel Volturno, Italy).
