Archival footage shot by a West German filmmaker while visiting Thailand in 1978.

It contains stock footage of Phitsanulok, an important, historic city in lower northern Thailand, and of the ancient temples at Sukothai, which is about fifty kilometres from Phitsanulok town: Phitsanulok airport, Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, agricultural fields, villages, markets, elephants working, tourist crossing the river with a boat, temples, and more.
