Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker at the second edition of the Sacramento County Fair in the city of Galt, at today’s Galt Flea Market and Park, held in 1938.
It contains stock footage of various venues of the fair: children and families enjoying the carousels (panoramic wheel, through the falls, go-karts), vintage 1930s cars parked in a parking lot, breeders preparing and showing their animals (horses, cows), businessmen watching the show, and more.
