Archival footage shot by Otto Wolf, a Swiss filmmaker, while visiting Egypt in the summer of 1960.

It contains stock footage of Saqqara, a village in Giza Governorate known for being the ancient burial ground of Egyptian royals, and of Memphis: paintings and reliefs inside buildings, Djoser’s step pyramid, the Pyramid of Unas, farmers bringing vegetables on their camels, Colossus of Ramesses II in Memphis, Sphinx of Memphis, and more.
