Archival footage shot by Otto Wolf, a Swiss filmmaker, while visiting Syria in the summer of 1960.

It contains stock footage of various places around the country: Syrian flag fluttering, a city market, people walking in the street, workers asphalting a road, shepherds watching their goats, women tasting salt in a saline, the filmmaker and his family camping in the desert, a cotton plantation, and more.
