Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting West Berlin in June 1974.

It contains stock footage of the western part of the city with a few shots of the eastern part taken from the other side of the wall: views from the aircraft while landing including the Olympic stadium, Airlift Memorial (Luftbrückedenkmal) on Platz der Luftbrücke outside Tempelhof airport, the Reichstag, Kongresshalle, the death strip with fortification between the two sides of the wall, Hotel Fürstenhof ruins, the memorial to people who died trying to cross the wall, the Brandenburg gate, the Soviet War Memorial (Tiergarten), Potsdamer Platz, the sign “you’re leaving the British sector”, a sightseeing bus, views from the terrace of the Europa-Center building, traffic in the Kurfürstendamm, passengers embarking a Pan Am aircraft in the strip of Tempelhof airport, and more.
